Helping Hands - The Homeless Project?

The CTA is collaborating closely with United Formed Church to provide assistance in feeding the homeless through open kitchens, ran by Brenda Lambert.

How Does It Work?

Helping Hands Chorley funds to initiate community projects, with the first project being focused on assisting the homeless. In addition to this, we have partnered with local small businesses and the Helping Hands Chorley to cover a fraction of the cost for the food or a haircut.

Our objective is not only to support the homeless by offering whatever assistance we can, but also to ensure that they receive the same quality of food or service that we would consume or use ourselves, rather than opting for cheaper alternatives. Our aim is to treat everyone equal, by working together we can make it happen.

How You Can Help Us?

If you ever find yourself in need of a taxi, make sure to choose a CTA approved taxi from Chorley, these are the taxi drivers who are making this project a reality. Don't forget to communicate with the drivers or operators to ensure they are part of CTA, and are actively supporting these community projects. (CTA stickers are placed in the front window). They are more than just a ride in our community.

When hunger strikes and your heading towards McDonald's, KFC or Subway for some food, consider using the takeaways that are backing this project. See all helping hand partners who have willingly joined forces to support our Chorley community projects using these businesses, you can contribute to our cause and show your local support.
